Qualification: MSW/Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Management, Rural Development, or a related field.
Experience: 2-5 years in healthcare project coordination, NGO projects, rural development, or mobile health services.
Job Summary:
The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of the Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels project, coordinating field activities, managing stakeholder relationships, monitoring project impact, and ensuring compliance with operational protocols. The role requires a dynamic professional with strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for healthcare and community service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination & Implementation
- Oversee daily operations of the mobile clinic, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Coordinate with medical staff (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians) to ensure smooth clinic functioning.
- Ensure proper planning and execution of health camps and awareness programs.
- Monitor patient inflow, service quality, and operational efficiency.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with local authorities, community leaders, healthcare officials, and NGOs for better outreach.
- Establish partnerships with government agencies, hospitals, and pharmacies to facilitate referrals and additional healthcare support.
- Conduct meetings and workshops to engage local communities.
3. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of beneficiaries, services provided, and health trends.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to project management and funding agencies.
- Analyze data to measure project impact and suggest improvements.
4. Logistics & Resource Management
- Ensure vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and availability of medical supplies.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely supply of medicines, kits, and equipment.
- Manage staff schedules and oversee efficient team deployment.
5. Community Engagement & Awareness
- Plan and execute health awareness campaigns on maternal health, child nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Develop IEC (Information, Education & Communication) materials for outreach programs.
- Encourage community participation and feedback to enhance project impact.
6. Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, ethical guidelines, and project protocols.
- Conduct periodic assessments and quality checks on service delivery.
- Address grievances and ensure patient satisfaction.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle field challenges and work in remote areas.
- Knowledge of public health policies, rural healthcare systems, and community mobilization.
- Basic understanding of data collection, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), and report writing.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in local language and Hindi/English (as applicable).
